The Box of Joy program is an opportunity for you to provide a Christmas gift to a child less fortunate, in poverty stricken nations, through Cross Catholic Outreach. This year your Peoria Diocesan Council of Catholic Women is encouraging all parishes to participate.
You may choose to fill a box of your own
(any regular-size shoebox or plastic box (approx. 12” x 5” will work), or we
have a supply of empty Box of Joy boxes.
Please include a $9 donation per box to cover the shipping cost, or
if that is an issue, please call me and we will see what we can do to help.
Choose the age group 2-4 years, 5-9
years, or 10-14 years old, and you may choose a boy or a girl as the recipient.
When the box is filled and ready to
ship, please call me at 815-249-6411 or 815-483-3013. You may also call a DCCW board member (Jane
Harris in Peoria at 309-645-7321) near you. For 2019, we ask that all boxes arrive in
Peoria at the Spalding Pastoral Center by November 7th. Please call so we can arrange the best way to
do this.

to a child who would otherwise have none.
