It is crucial that the Hyde Amendment be protected so that taxpayers are not forced to pay for abortions.  Contact your Congressional Representative to make your voice heard!  In this mid-term election year, attend candidate forums and debates when possible. Read to learn which candidates are in line with Catholic Church teaching, especially in relation to the sanctity of human life and marriage, gender theory, and religious liberty.

If this bill passes it means recording all your medical info on a data base in Springfield from your doctor etc. Do you want that information available to them????

HB 4640 is scheduled to be heard in the Human Services Committee tomorrow at 9 AM. It creates the Access to Public Health Data Act. HB 4640 would enable the Department of Public Health to breach Illinois resident's private medical records and adopt "any rules necessary" to

"make any and all public health data related to residents of that local health department's jurisdiction available to that local health department for the purposes of preventing or controlling disease, injury, or disability."

Even more eye-opening is this section. It would give the Department of Public Health

"supreme authority in matters of quarantine and isolation, [so that they] may declare and enforce quarantine and isolation when none exists...."
